ENT Charitable Trust was registered in 1979 with Charity Commissioner of Maharashtra to
help the deaf in general and children in particular. The Trust activities range from detection
of uncomplained hearing impairment to rehabilitation of deaf.
We started the first school for the deaf-KOSHISH-in 1983 with 30 students, formed 3 schools
with 85 students by 1993 amalgamated all three schools and moved in our own CENTRE FOR
THE CARE OF DEAF in June 2000. Today we are having 116 students. recognised by the State
Social Welfare Board of Government
KOSHISH was christined by late actor Sanjeev Kumar who had acted in the memorable movie
of the same name. KOSHISH-EFFORT, effort on the part of students, teachers, management,
parents and the society. |
